The 2022 White Oak District CAMPOREE is based on Leave No Trace Principles (https://www.nps.gov/articles/leave-no-trace-seven-principles.htm) and will be both a FUN and a LEARNING experience – Earth Day is Friday, April 22, 2022, but we will carry that principal forward during our event.

As with all WOD Events, Troops who attend will need to help run as well as participate in the events that are scheduled. We appreciate your full participation. Mark Verschell will coordinate the volunteers.

A preliminary schedule can be downloaded in the files section to the right. Updates to the schedule may be sent to all registered participants closer to the event start date. Troops are asked to help with this CAMPOREE by running one of these events, as well as other activities as requested by Mark Verschell.

Note that Leave No Trace Training 101 will be offered during the Camporee, but pre-registration is required. Note that registrations can be updated while online registration is open. Registrations are not finalized until payment has been completed and a confirmation email is received.

Montgomery County MD and BSA COVID precautions SHALL be used during this event.

If you have any of the COVID symptoms, please DO NOT attend this event.

Every Unit Leader must complete the Pre-Event Screening Form for ALL Participants and ANY person who will come to the event location. ***NO VISITORS*** Please.

ALL ATTENDEES age 12 and above should be COVID VACCINATED to attend this event in order to help prevent any spread of COVID to other participants.

This event is a White Oak District event, but is open to Seneca, Potomac and Washington, D.C. Districts as well on a space available basis!

PLEASE NOTE: NAMES OF PARTICIPANTS ***ARE REQUIRED*** BUT CAN BE ENTERED UP TO THE START OF THE EVENT, AS WE MUST KEEP TRACK OF ALL THOSE ATTENDING.
