C&O canal clean up on Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20, 2022

Open to the White Oak, Potomac and Seneca Districts

This year we are planning on having three sessions, spread over two days, with each session being at a different location:

• Saturday morning, March 19th from 8:45 am until noon at the White’s Ferry parking Lot, 24801 Whites Ferry Road, Dickerson, MD 20842
• Saturday afternoon, March 19th from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Dickerson Conservation Parking Lot, 20700 Martinsburg Road, Dickerson, MD 20842 NOTE This location requires all volunteers to be fully vaccinated. Be prepared to show proof.
• Sunday afternoon, March 20th from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Monocacy Aqueduct Parking Lot, 21115 Mouth of Monocacy Road, Dickerson, MD 20842 (drive to the end of Mouth of Monocacy Road to get to the parking area)
   

Open to Cub Scouts and Scouts, BSA of all ages!

• You will need to have your temperature taken prior to arriving.
• Each person needs to bring their own water.
• Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
• No one is allowed to enter the water.
• If you are able to bring a wheelbarrow to haul trash back to the collection site, that would be appreciated!

• A volunteer agreement may be required for the location selected, but will be sent via email prior to the event if necessary.
