WOD Lion Roar 2021

Who: All new Lions and Their Partners. Lions MUST have a Lion Partner (over age 18) in attendance for the entire event. Cost for the pair is $5.00 if registered by 10/18/21. The cost goes up to $7 on/after 10/19/21. Registration closes Thursday, October 21 at 7 am.
What: Lion Roar is a fun activity to learn about Scouting. It will be co-located with WEBELOS Weekend so that you will be able to see WEBELOS and Scouts, BSA in action and visit some of their events such as: a rope bridge.
When: Saturday, October 23, 2021; From 10:45 am until 12:45 pm
Where: Madison Fields Farm, 21355 Big Woods Road, Dickerson MD; Same location as WEBELOS WEEKEND
Planning:
Montgomery County MD and BSA COVID precautions SHALL be used during this event. Please download and read the COVID attachments. If you have any of the COVID symptoms listed, please DO NOT attend this event.
Unit Leaders must complete the Pre-Event Screening Form for ALL Participants and ANY person who will come to the event location. ***NO VISITORS*** Please.
ALL ATTENDEES age 12 and above should be COVID VACCINATED to attend this event in order to help prevent any spread of COVID to younger participants. If vaccination is not feasible, AND for those participants younger than 12, then the participant should be tested 1 to 3 days prior to the event and have a NEGATIVE test result.
1. Parents may register their Lion Scouts in advance by choosing 'Individual Registration'. However, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you register with a pack rather than as an individual. Please provide your name and your child’s/children's names. If you know the pack number, please enter it, but it's not required to register. EACH LION MUST HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONAL ADULT IN ATTENDANCE. Twins may share an Adult Partner. Parents must complete the Pre-Event Screening Form for themselves and their children (ANY person who will come to the event location).
2. Packs can prepay for all Lions from their pack attending the event by choosing 'Pack Registration'. If registering as a pack, no names are needed at time of registration, but names of ALL Participants’ names are REQUIRED prior to arrival at the event. Note that all Lions and Partners must check in upon arrival at the event.
3. Walk-in's are ***NOT*** allowed, preregistration is REQUIRED because of BSA and COVID requirements.
4. Dress for being active outdoors and for the day’s weather (rain or shine). Be prepared!
5. Eat a good breakfast before you come. Bring water to drink and a light snack to eat.
