STEM Summer Workshops

Event Details

The NCAC STEM Committee is delighted to partner with Building Momentum to offer two STEM-focused workshops this summer of 2024!

Scouts will have the opportunity to earn the Electronics, Model Design & Building, and Entrepreneurship Merit Badges as well as earn the NOVA STEM: Next Big Thing Award from BuildMo's BSA registered Merit Badge & NOVA Award Counselors.

Going beyond the awards

Scouts will learn technology and skills in addition to meeting the merit badge requirements. Technology will include Laser Cutting, 3D printing, soldering, and Computer Aided Design (CAD).

This is a youth education program focused on problem-solving designed to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and innovation among students. The program aims to foster a deeper understanding of complex real-world challenges and encourage students to develop effective solutions!
