STEM Scouts Information Session

Event Details

STEM Scouts® is a national pilot program focused on fun ways for girls and boys to learn more about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Educational content, developed and vetted by STEM educators, is designed to be immersive and to inspire teamwork, problem solving and independent thinking. Through hands-on activities delivered directly to the unit, this 26-week program is ultimately designed to be challenging, thought-provoking and, especially, fun.

STEM Scouts® is open to boys and girls in three divisions: grades 3-5; grades 6-8; and grades 9-12. NCAC recently adopted the program; BSA’s Asst. Dir. of STEM Programs will host the first information session from 7-8PM on September 18th.

Please register if you plan to attend the information session in person or via conference call (there's no fee to register, of course, but we appreciate the estimate). The dial-in information will be emailed to you upon registration.

You may also learn more about the program by visiting: www.stemscouts.org or contacting: stem@ncacbsa.org
