Patuxent District Hike-o-ree

The Program Team after much thought with the information we have at this time are cancelling the Hike A-Ree at Jug Bay for Saturday Sept. 23. With the forecasted timing of the weather, we feel that the safety of our Scouts and Scouters combined with the impact on the trails would not be in anyone’s best interest.  The Program team would like to encourage you to schedule a hike at either Jug Bay or another location of your choice. You can order the 2023 Patch for your Scouts/Scouters who participate to the right. 

Join us for a stroll through the MNCPPC Jug Bay Natural Area. This 7,000-acre park offers a variety of trails & water activities, plus a rural-history museum. There are over 14 miles of scenic woodland trails for hikers, bicyclists, and horseback riders.
