Patriot District Scouts BSA will hold its Fall Camporee at Camp Snyder on October 15 till 17, 2021.  There will be 175 slots for Scouts BSA members and twenty-five slots for Webelos/Arrow of light Scouts.  (Webelos/Arrow of Light Scouts cannot camp overnight.) Registration will open in September 2021.  The theme is “Escape Room”.   Scouts working in small groups will have to solve a series of challenges to include COPE events to master the Escape Room.  There will be an additional separate Super Escape Room challenge for groups brave enough to volunteer.  Also, Scouts will have an opportunity to engage in fun activities such as the Climbing Wall, Archery, Rifle Marksmanship using competition grade air rifles, Gaga Ball, Volleyball, Catapult firing, sling shots and stomp rockets.  Additionally, we will offer ten different stations focusing on Tenderfoot, 2nd Class and 1st Class requirements to support rank advancement.  Another event will be Geocaching merit badge.  In the evening, we will conduct outdoor church services, a Camporee Campfire and then show a “Movie under the Stars”.  The cost of the event is $26 for Scouts and Webelos/Arrow of Light.  The cost for adults that are camping is $26.  There is no cost for adults that are not camping.
