Does your unit want to sponsor its own outdoor climbing events on nearby natural rock? Scouts 16 or older and Scouters 18 or older can become qualified instructors by completing Climbing Level I Instructor training. This fall we offer two class sections at Maryland's Sugarloaf Mountain: the first on October 1-2, the second on October 15-16. Register in and attend only one weekend section. We will meet each day at 8:15 am at the Devil's Kitchen climbing area and finish by 6:00 pm. See our 10-1 logistics memo or 10-15 logistics memo for details.
