2020 NCAC Jewish Committee on Scouting Merit Badge Fair and Religious Emblems Workshop
The National Capital Area Council Jewish Committee on Scouting invites Boy Scouts of all faiths to participate in a merit badge and religious emblems fair.
When: Sunday, January 5, 2020
Time: 2 - 6:30pm
Location: Gesher Jewish Day School
Address: 4800 Mattie Moore Ct. Fairfax, Va 22030
The merit badge fair will offer opportunities for scouts of all ages as well as for adults.
Cub Scouts: May work on the Aleph Religious Emblem
Scouts BSA: May work on the Ner Tamid Religious Emblem or one of the various merit badges
Adults: Various adult training will be offered including Youth Protection, Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat, Hazardous Weather, International Scouting, STEM/NOVA counselor
Almost all merit badge classes are now full, so online registration has been closed. Several spaces remain for Truck Transportation/Traffic Safety (combined). Please contact Phil Sternberg for more information.
MERIT BADGES BEING OFFERED: Aviation, Automotive Maintenance, Bugling, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Chemistry, Collections, Communication, Electricity, Electronics, Engineering, Family Life, Fingerprinting, Genealogy, Leatherwork, Nuclear Science, Personal Management, Photography, Public Speaking, Scholarship, Space Exploration, Truck Transportation
Cost: $10 per scout ($5 for additional scouts in the same family)
