NCAC COPE Facilitator Training & Scouterhorn Ops Training

Event Details

Level 1 COPE Facilitator Training

Students who successfully complete this training will be able to support a COPE Director (or Level 2 facilitator) in running COPE sessions. In the process of learning, students will discover their personal leadership style, and learn techniques for developing teams. Students will also learn how to use games to motivate others in fun ways, enable their groups to become teams, and never, ever, be bored.

Level 1 training is a first step in learning techniques for teambuilding. It is a prerequisite to Level 2, where trainees will learn more technical aspects of running a COPE course.

We will also train anyone interested in operating the Scouterhorn, the 24' Drop-a-Rock mobile climbing tower from Spectrum Sports.

Training is tailored for adults and mature youth (16 years and older, or Venturers).
