Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training
for all Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters

Bull Run Training is always open to leaders from other districts. We welcome your fellowship and your participation.
Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training is for all Scoutmasters and their assistants. Boy Scout leaders also must complete Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills training to be considered fully trained. The course is designed to train new Scout leaders as well as to update long time Scout Leaders in the new initiatives being implemented by BSA to make a good troop grow. This training is a prerequisite for leaders aspiring to attend the Wood Badge Training Course.

• Are you about to become a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster?
• Are you a Webelos leader or parent preparing to move on to a Scout Troop?
• Do you want to affect boys’ lives in a positive way?

For the new Boy Scout Leader, this training will increase your comfort level while giving you the confidence of a trained, skilled troop leader. You will have the opportunity to work with other Scout leaders from your area, meet new friends, and reinforce your knowledge of the program. It has been proven that a Troop is most successful when its leaders are trained.

Dress: BSA field uniform
What to Bring: Brown bag lunch, pen/pencil and note taking paper, and a copy of the Scoutmaster’s Handbook
