Aquia District Popcorn Kernel and Membership Trainings

Event Details

Join us for Popcorn Kernel Training and Membership Training on May 17, 2026 from 2-4 pm. Training will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, in the Ministry Center Room 101. There will be food and prizes. Each unit should plan for at least one member to attend. 


The Popcorn Kernel session will review basics and practical steps to implement your popcorn sales program for your unit. This session will cover enrolling your unit, setting up your unit's Trail's End account, scheduling shifts, and ordering popcorn to help you succeed! 


The Membership Training is a combination of how-to's and best practices. We will review recruiting and retention strategies and how to conduct and advertise Join Scouting events. In addition, it will cover roster validation in Scoutbook+ and My.Scouting, review My.Scouting invitation and application mangers, and review how to create accounts and register or renew members.
