Join us for an interactive morning of training to set units up for success in the 2025-2026 program year! 
This event will be held in the Izaak Walton League Clubhouse, 2729 Garrisonville Road Stafford VA 22556 
Please be courteous when parking to allow space for everyone in attendance. Carpooling is encouraged.

8:30 AM - Fellowship and light breakfast, check in 
9:00 AM - "JSN" Training OR Popcorn Training (2 rooms - smaller groups will allow for Q and A at the end)
10:00 AM - "Ideal Year of Scouting" Training (1 room)
11:00 AM - "JSN" Training OR Popcorn Training (2 rooms - smaller groups will allow for Q and A at the end) 
12:00 PM - "Parking lot" - Event is over, District Leadership and Commissioners available for questions

JSN Training - ALL UNITS NEED TO BE REPRESENTED. If you don't have a membership chair, anyone from your leadership team can attend! This is great information for committee chairs, scoutmasters, cubmasters, etc. We will be presenting a new to Aquia system for Join Scouting Nights every unit should implement this fall. We are prepared to see amazing growth in our area by following the plan. 

IDEAL YEAR OF SCOUTING Training - We will have more information available relating to programs around the council and district, so if you missed program launch this one is for you! We need every unit to attend this hour. You will hear information on budgeting, yearly planning, the new commissioner dashboard and how Scouting America is measuring unit success - Tips and Tricks for making sure your unit is active, healthy, and growing! 

POPCORN Training - ALL UNITS NEED TO BE REPRESENTED. If you don't have a popcorn kernal for next year yet, or you don't traditionally sell popcorn, please make sure someone from your unit's leadership team attends to get the information about this great unit fundraiser, that also supports the operations of our district. We have some new and exciting updates to share with you!
