Den Chief Training

Join us for an exciting, hands-on Den Chief Training where you’ll learn everything you need to lead, inspire, and mentor younger Cub Scouts! This is your chance to become a role model, gain valuable leadership experience, and have an awesome time doing it.

Why should you attend?

Learn leadership & communication skills that will help you in Scouting and beyond!  Have fun while making a real impact on your local Cub Scout Pack! Earn the Den Chief Service Award and enhance your path to Eagle! Build friendships and exchange experiences with other Scouts across the NCAC who share your passion for Scouting!

Who can attend?  Cub Scout Packs looking to strengthen its program by implementing Den Chiefs. Scouts BSA who want to serve as Den Chiefs (it is recommended scouts be active in their troops for at least one year before serving as Den Chiefs). Adult Leaders & Scouters who want to learn how to work with and support Den Chiefs in their troops & packs.

What to Bring? Pen and notepad, Den Chief Handbook if you own it. Scout essentials.

What to Wear? Complete field uniform.
