Frederick District Cub-O-Ree

Event Details

The Frederick District Cub-O-Ree will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025 at the Walkersville Watershed.  The Cub-O-Ree will be open to all cub scouts from Lion through Webelos (I & II).


The Cub-O-Ree is a rotation-style event filled with a variety of activities for scouts.  These rotations include Archery, Cooking, Orienteering, STEM, knots, hiking, Team Building, and more.These include STEM, knots, hiking, Team Building, and more. Packs can also choose to stay in their camping site during their open block and do activities they choose. 

All packs attending will be assigned a Campsite so they have a place to cook and eat meals. Packs may share a Campsite with another unit. Packs are responsible for all food during the event.

In the evening we will have a Campfire Program and all units are invited to participate.

All Packs must provide 2 Deep Leadership, including female leaders if they have female youth.  Lions and Tigers need an Adult partner with them at all times.

**For siblings who are not currently registered as Scouts and are ages 5 to 10, they may participate in the event when registered under "family member," the $25 fee is paid, and they are accompanied by their parent or guardian.**
