Overview:

The STEM Speaker Series is a way for you to learn about exciting STEM careers!  The conversations will be held on Teams. This is a continuation of a successful series NCAC STEM started during the pandemic. Attendees will have an opportunity to join a Q&A with each of our guests.

Cate Larsen, B.S. Geology, is a geo-communicator utilizing the connective power of the internet to bring geology education to the masses. Her background as a geologist and passion for teaching come together and drive her to share her knowledge with the world on social media like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

“Mars is over 100 MILLION miles away, so how do scientists study it and learn so much about it? Come learn about things like rovers, orbiters, and places here on Earth that help us understand Mars’ geology and piece together its history.
