Frederick District: Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS)

Welcome to IOLS 2024!

Think of yourself as a Tenderfoot Scout who is planning a weekend camping event with your patrol.  You will have pre-event tasks to prepare both yourself and your patrol that will require you to exchange communications with your patrol mates.

After registering for the course, I will send you an email that contains a packing list for the weekend, and follow-up tasks to complete before the course.

For you, the Scout leader, the prep time for this course will directly impact your experience.

My advice from this moment: Read all the material that you will be sent. Talk with your patrol.

Taking this course is an investment in your Scouts and yourself.
