Venturing Leader Position-Specific Training (P21) /
Crew Committee Challenge (WS12)

This course is intended to provide Venturing crew Advisors with the basic information they need to help youth leaders manage a crew.  It is being taught in conjunction with Crew Committee Challenge. 

Registration Deadline:
Online Payment Only by December 1, 2016
Seneca will NOT accept payments at the Marriott Scout Service Center 

Course fee: $10

We are sorry- there are no accommodations for children at this training event.

Who takes training?
This course is intended to provide Venturing crew Advisors and crew committee members with the basic information they need  to help youth leaders manage a crew. 

Introduction to Outdoor Leaders Training (IOLS), will complete your training. 
You must register for IOLS separately.

- May 6-7, 2017 (White Oak)
- October 28-29, 2017 (White Oak)

What to bring: 
Venturing Advisor Guidebook and a lunch (there is no time to go out for lunch.)

Prerequisites:  Complete before attending: (my.scouting.org)
- Youth Protection (Y02) 
- To get training, log in, click My Dashboard, then click Training Center

Suggested Courses to complete before coming: (online classes are found at: my.scouting.org)
- Venturing Leader Fast Start (on-line)
- This is Scouting (on-line) 

Please gather your training dates before you start the registration process.  It will make the registration easier. 

If you have already taken Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS), please provide the date.

Online registration requires the following information:
- BSA ID Number
- Name (As found on BSA membership card)
- Email Address
- Phone numbers
- Address
- District/Unit Type/Number
- Registered Position
- Position to be Trained for
- Training Completed 

This is a uniformed event, if you have one wear it.

Park in Church Parking lot off of Walker Ave., otherwise park on street or lot across from Walker Ave entrance of church.  DO NOT Park in shopping center lot – you will be towed. Enter church from church parking lot entrance/court yard.
