Colonial is pleased to offer the Environmental Science merit badge beginning in April.

Registration will close Sunday, April 16, 2023 at noon,

After registration closes, Scouts and parents will receive an email introduction from their counselor.

Colonial District will once again be offering Environmental Science Merit Badge this spring. Please note that scouts outside of Colonial wishing to take this course are asked to contact Burt Wagner before registering.

The class will be held via Zoom, and Scouts will be required to make at least 3 visits (on their own schedule) to Huntley Meadows Park for observation sessions.

The three mandatory Zoom sessions are on April 18, 25, and May 2, in each case starting at 7:30pm for about 1 hour. 

Optional office hours will be held on the remaining Tuesdays through the end of June from 7:30-8:30pm. 

All work for the merit badge must be completed by COB on July 1, 2023 or partials will be issued.
