Colonial's 2023 Pinewood Derby

This year's District Pinewood Derby is to be held Saturday, March 04 at the Springfield American Legion Post 176, located at 6520 Amherst Ave, Springfield, VA 22150.

The days race schedule will run as follows:

• Registration opens: 8:00 a.m.
• Lions and Bears: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
• Tigers and Webelos: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Wolves and AOL: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Finals: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Scouts may enter either in the category of Speed or Show theme.  Speed heats will be run according to rank. This year's show car categories will be most Scout themed; most realistic; most futuristic; most unique; and, most humorous.

Cost is $10.00 per Cub Scout. There will be trophies and prizes. Adult and siblings may race at no charge before the finals.
