Goose Creek District 2022 Spring Camporee
March 25-27, 2022
Camp Highroad
21164 Steptoe Hill Road
Middleburg VA 20117
CAMPOREE DETAILS
An enemy camp is holding our firewood for ransom and agreed to release it to the spy team who can best demonstrate superior scout skills to overcome a series of patrol challenges. The spy teams (patrols) will earn points at each patrol challenge event, with additional points earned for patrols who perform skits at the evening campfire. This event is designed for Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews or Explorer Posts.
The Camporee consists of two major events: a Patrol Challenge of several stations, and an Adventure Choice period for Scouts to explore challenging “High Adventure” program activities (additional fees apply). Each Unit will have an assigned period for each event, so that everyone will have equal opportunity for full participation.
REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
All participants must register and pay the Camporee Fee online thru this registration page. The Camporee fee is $29 each (all Youth and Adults) and includes all campsite and facility support costs. REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 7:00 PM, MARCH 20, 2022.
Every Unit is expected to participate with one or more Patrols in the Patrol Challenge events (no additoinal fees). Adventure Choice Activities are optional. Each participant may choose one Activity. Registration and payment for all Adventure Choice Activities are also processed thru this registration websit; there is no on-site registration/payment available. Adult participation in the Adventure Choice activities is free, but registration is still required.
