Event details:

Catoctin Spring Training @ Camp Round Meadows tucked in Catoctin National Park October 14-16

Who:

Sea Scouts, Sea Scouters, Scouts BSA ( 14 years and up) and Venture Scouts. 

Why:

The mission of Catoctin Spring Training is to:

Help Sea Scouts advance in ranks through courses in specific seamanship and boating skills;
Improve the ability of adult leaders to affectively guide and mentor their Sea Scouts; and
Advance and grow the Sea Scout program by building a stronger and better-connected Sea Scout community.

What:

Multiple rank specific advancement workshops Apprentice to Quartermaster
Multiple workshops for Skippers and Scouters from trailering to risk management with lots in between
Connecting with Sea Scouts and Scouters
And Crackerbarrels/Midrats too!

Accommodations

Onsight bunkhouse assignments

Cost:

Weekend: $60 includes 4 meals, bunkhouse assignment, patch, and all the networking a Scout can do.

Saturday only: $45 includes 2 meals, patch, and all the networking a Scout can do.

Boarding Manual including Class Schedule to come.

Everyone onsite must have proof of current COVID vaccine or proof of a negative COVID test within 3 days prior to event.
