Being a Cub Scout leader is not short on benefits, and many long-time leaders will tell you how rewarding it can be.  Apart from helping to develop the next generation of upstanding citizens,  you will provide a key role in planning memorable activities, marvel in the laughter and energy of Cub Scouts who attend, and have fun working with other adults in a worthwhile cause. As part of a three-part training program, Powhatan District's Cub Scout Leader-Specific Training and This is Scouting sessions provide essential information for running a successful Cub Scout Pack. 

Learn about your specific responsibilities, gain ideas for making your Pack meetings run smoothly, discover program helps to make your activities fun, and learn more about Scouting's safety rules and best practices.  At this training you can ask and get answers to all of your questions! 

Join us to meet other Cub Scout leaders, and take home skills and information you need to make your Pack's program a Cub Scouting success. 

Prerequisite:  Hazardous Weather Online Training
TPlease complete Hazardous Weather Training, SCO_800, available on-line at www.my.scouting.org, before the session and e-mail me your completion certificate, or print it and have it with you to show on the screen at the training.
