NO CONTACT BSA SCOUT FOOD DRIVE – AUG 22

Stafford BSA Scouts are doing a No Contact Food Drive on SATURDAY, August 22 to help stock Stafford Pantries who are struggling to meet the needs of our Stafford County residents affected by the pandemic. There are two drop off points:

  1. ST. PETER’S LUTHERAN CHURCH 1201 COURTHOUSE RD STAFFORD 22554. 10AM to 3PM
  2. STAFFORD LAKES CLUBHOUSE 65 VILLAGE PARKWAY, STAFFORD 22406 10AM to 1PM

Food collected here will be shared between St. Peter’s, St. William of York Catholic Church and SERVE.

Food collected from scout families and Stafford residents will be done in a manner to meet safe physical distancing recommendations. Donors and scouts are still encouraged to wear masks and gloves.

Pantries need your help with the following non-perishable items:

Canned Protein (Tuna, Chicken, Spam)

Peanut Butter & Jam

Canned Chili, Meat-Based Soups and Stews

Canned vegetables, tomatoes, and fruit

Canned beans (black, red, pinto, etc.)

Cereal – Cold & Hot

How do you help?

Scout who live in your neighborhood may be picking up donations from doorsteps or by mailboxes (no contact). Scouts may also be creating drop boxes in your neighborhood.

Look for flyers in your paper boxes, emails or messages on community pages.

If you have not seen anything from scouts in your neighborhood, you may bring your donations to one of the drop off points listed above on August 22.

If you still want to help with a food donation, but cannot on August 22, please email aquiadistrictscoutingforfood@yahoo.com and we can make arrangements.

You can also send online monetary donations to the following links:
