The purpose of Merit Badge Counselor Training unit is to provide registered merit badge counselors with understanding of the methods of counseling and their role in the advancement program of Boy Scouts of America. 

As a result of this unit of training, the merit badge counselor should be able to understand the purpose of the merit badge program for the Scout and to understand the role of the merit badge counselor.

Cost: Free for those registered for the PWD Winter Camporee, $5.00 for all others
