Explore the rough and tough life of the early fur trappers of the American West at the Winter Rendezvous! We will re-create life during the annual gathering of the mountain men in the Rocky Mountains of the early 1800's.

Mountain Men (Scouts) will demonstrate the crafts and skills necessary to survive during the era of the fur trapper. In a day long competition between Fur Companies (Patrols) A fort full of trappers will challenge the scouts to live how the mountain man lived, and use the equipment that they carried and used.

Tall tales, fun, food, competition, education, camping and a whole lot of strange people will make this a memorable and exciting weekend for Scouts and Venturers!
