The Webelos-o-ree is an overnight camping event designed to introduce Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts and their parents to the Scouts BSA program. The weekend is filled with fun and skills activities led by Goose Creek District troops. It begins with an opening ceremony Saturday morning and ends Sunday morning. The Saturday evening campfire is a special highlight!
REGISTRATION
Participation in the Webelos-o-ree is open all Webelos (4th) and AoL (5th) grade Scouts. Registration by pack/den is encouraged, although individual registrations will be accepted. All registrations must be made in advance by September 30 using the online system found on this website. After this date, an additional $5 per person will be added into the fee.
Registration Costs:
Registrations can be made either by pack/den or by individuals. All Scouts in a pack will be assigned to the same campsite, regardless of the way they are registered or when they register.
Rate A – Camping overnight. The cost is $25 per person and includes the patch, dinner Saturday evening, and breakfast Sunday.
Rate B – Staying through campfire. The cost is $20 per person and includes the patch, and dinner Saturday evening.
Rate C – Visiting for the day. The cost is $15 per Webelos to cover the event fee and does not include a patch. Adults are free in this category.
Den Chiefs attend this event free of charge.
