Sportrock Climbing Centers in Alexandria open their doors to Scouts and Scouters on the third Sunday of each month for a discounted day rate of $16 including gear. Whether you are new to rock climbing, improving your skills, or would like to volunteer belays, this is a chance to enjoy a challenge and meet others in the NCAC climbing community.

To receive your discounted rate and get fitted with gear, check in at Sportrock's front desk between 2:30 and 3:30 pm on the third Sunday of any month and tell the staff that you are there for the Scouts BSA monthly climbing meetup. BEFORE checking in all climbers and belayers MUST complete the Sportrock Participant Agreement and the NCAC Climbing/Rappelling Health History And Consent Form and Hold Harmless Agreement.

Once you are set up you can climb until closing time at 9:00 pm. If you are new to climbing and/or want a belayer, RSVP to seth.a.bolte@gmail.com by the middle of the prior week so that an experienced climber from Climbing Committee can meet and support you.
