NCAC Commissioners Retreat - 2019
Who: All ACCs, District Commissioners (or designee) and Deputy District Commissioners
What: An overnight retreat for key NCAC Commissioners. In-depth discussions of issues and opportunities facing NCAC Districts Commissioners. Fellowship and networking with peers.
When: Friday, June 28. Registration 5:00-7:00 PM; River Concert 7:00-9:00PM; Fellowship 9:00 – 10:30? Saturday, June 29 Conference Sessions 8:30-4:30
Where: St Mary’s College of Maryland; St Mary’s City (St Mary’s County) MD
Program: The retreat will provide an in-depth look at the commissioner’s role in supporting national and council strategic plans, and meeting the Council Commissioner’s goals. It will cover the latest developments with Commissioner Tools and other council and district data to optimize performance. Workshops on how to deal with poor performing commissioners and successful recruiting of committed commissioners.
Directions: From the Beltway in Prince Georges County, Take Route 5 South to St Mary’s City and the college (approximately 65 miles – 1 ½ hours). Detailed directions will be provided.
Other: 1. Fee is $65.00. The fee includes a deli dinner Friday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
Accommodations are in college dormitory suites. Bring towels, bed linens and a folding chair for the concert. No discount if you will not be staying overnight.
2. All attendees should be trained in their commissioner position.
