8:30am – 9:30am UNIT LEADER ADVANCEMENT NEWS & LIFE TO EAGLE DISCUSSION [Please register on-line to RSVP as we will host this event only if there is significant interest.]

This session is for unit Life to Eagle Coordinators, Advancement Chairs, Scoutmasters, Varsity Coaches, and Venturing Advisors to discuss advancement news as well as current and new requirements so that they can better guide their Scouts through the total process to include the Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook and Eagle Scout Rank Application.   The roles and responsibilities of unit leaders are critical to the process of earning the Eagle Scout Rank.

10:00am – 12:30 SCOUT & FAMILY LIFE TO EAGLE ORIENTATION

This session is for Star and Life Scouts and their parents so that the Scout might “Be Prepared!”  The presentation will cover Eagle Scout Service Projects, the write-up (work book), and all requirements as well as a brief look at the Eagle Scout Board of Review and Court of Honor.  Additionally, we will introduce those who you will need to talk with on the Aquia District Advancement & Recognition Committee when you are ready to get approval to start your project and when you are ready to turn in your Eagle Scout Rank Application upon completion and write-up of the Service Project.
