2018 20th Anniversary Combined District Fall Camporee

The three districts that were once the great George Washington District will once again come together to celebrate their heritage with a combined fall camporee at Gunston Hall.

Come join your fellow Webelos, Scouts, Venturers, and Scouters at Gunston Hall for a weekend of events and Scout spirit.  Scheduled activities include a festival field with archery, bb gun shooting, tomahawk throwing, gaga ball, horse shoes, marbles, lashing, dodge ball, surveying, massive "Boot Camp" inflatable obstacle course, climbing wall, and STEM activities.  All of the events will culminate with a grand campfire on Saturday evening.

Troops will also be in competition with each other with their campsite gateways dedicated to colonial times, the old dominion, patriots, George Washington, or our nation's founding fathers, so start brainstorming now on what theme your troop may wish to construct.

The registration fee for this combined camporee is $25 per person for Boy Scout troops, Venturing Crews, Sea Scouts Ships, and Camporee staff.

Webelos and Webelos leaders are invited to attend the Camporee for the day and evening on Saturday, October 20th.  The fee for Webelos is $15.  Note that Webelos and their leaders are not able to camp overnight at this Camporee.
