Who:          Troop Scouts and WEBELOS AOL who have not completed their Arrow of Light (WEBELOS AOL) should attend this event with the Troop they have chosen to register with when they complete their Arrow of Light).

What:        CAMPOREE - Welcomes all new Scouts who just transitioned from WEBELOS AOL Scouts as well as seasoned Scouts. This event will challenge both new and experienced scouts.

                     CAMPOREE is designed as a fun orientation for new Scouts, former WEBELOS AOL, who just transitioned into a Troop from a Pack and completely new Scouts. Experienced Scouts will welcome the new Scouts to their Troops and have some great fun together with all of the activities available at CAMPOREE. Experienced Scouts will also be challenged with events specifically designed for them.

                     This event will help new Scouts acclimatize into the Troop so that they will be ready for Summer Camp with the Troop.

                     This year’s theme is “ARMORY” – developing marksmanship skills. The following events will be included: Archery (Troop 1444); BB Shooting (Troop 492); Tomahawk Throwing (Troop 1441); Sling Shots (Troop 763); Catapult (Troop 457); Darts (Troop 264); Cooking with Fire (WOOD FIRES, no propane) (all participating troops) to include: A Roasted Chicken, A Vegetable; A Dessert. It will also include SCOUTS CHOPPED (Troop 614) that has now been rescheduled and included in this CAMPOREE for Sunday morning. CHOPPED CANCELLED

Where:     Our House, 19715 Zion Rd, Brookeville, MD 20833 <<In A NEW FIELD, entrance located on Brookville Road about 1884-ft east from Zion Road.

Cost: $18.00 per person for CAMPOREE; $25.00 per troop for Scouts Chopped food fee (12 troops max)

PLEASE NOTE: NAMES OF PARTICIPANTS ***ARE REQUIRED*** BUT CAN BE ENTERED UP TO THE END OF THE EVENT, AS WE MUST KEEP TRACK OF ALL THOSE ATTENDING.
