Chain Bridge District Cub Scout Camporall 2019

Event Details

LET THE GAMES BEGIN

Yes, it’s Camporall time again.  That’s our theme (above) and it means we’re going to have lots of games as well as the fun activities you expect at Camporall.     Of course, we’ll have BBs, Archery, our climbing wall, and something cool to dig up at the “Big Dig”.     To stick to the theme, we’ll also have kick ball, ga-ga ball, and STEM challenges for your Dens.   How about “Kingdom Lawn Game”?      Games for your brainiacs?   Yeah, sure.  We’ll have 20 Sets of Chess running (well, operating) in the dining hall, as well as a cool Chinese card game (24).    Your families can choose to come out for Saturday only (free for adults, $12 for Cubs and participating Sibs that are 5 to 10 years old.    Or join your Den and Pack and camp out overnight ($20 for Cub and Cub age sibs, $8 for adults).

This is such a great event to kick off your Cub Scout year.   I hope you’ll join us.

Worth noting:    If you were with us last year, I know you had a good time, except for the lack of sufficient water pressure for the toilets to handle the very large crowd we had in camp.     We won’t have that problem this year.   We’ll have about 60 port-a-potties on site for the event.  We’ll have 10 at each shower house and another 10 to 20 scattered around camp.  Handwashing stations too.    Eventually that water pressure problem will be fixed, but not in time for this years’ event.
