We here in Piedmont District pride ourselves on our LST course.  It has been around for some 40 years and been handed down with care from staff member to staff member; retaining the best of the old ways while keeping current with new changes to the program.

PIEDMONT DISTRICT Leader Specific Training (LST) is a three-day training program where you learn through hearing, seeing, and doing.  You will learn about boy leadership and the patrol method by assuming the role of a Boy Scout in a patrol for the weekend.

LST is the first weekend in May at Camp Big Mac near Markham, Virginia.

The course begins Friday morning at 7:30 AM and ends at 4:00 PM on Sunday.

The cost for the weekend includes program, food and all council fees. You need to bring your own tent and camping gear.  Patrol supplies are provided for each site.
