Who: Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Crew Advisors, Associate Crew Advisors, and other adult volunteers who want to help with basic advancement skills and outdoor program activities, and who need to complete their training requirements.

What: Instruction designed to hone outdoor skills, conducted in a “mini Wood Badge” format using the patrol method. Focuses on Unit structure, event planning, camping, scouting skills, and outdoor cooking. Partially fulfills the training requirements for SM, ASM, VA, and AVA positions.

When: “Sunday-Friendly” schedule. Classroom Session – September 27, 7-9 pm at Aldersgate United Methodist Church 1301 Collingwood Road Alexandria VA 22308.  Weekend Session starts at 5:00 pm, Friday, September 29 and runs through 5:00 pm, Saturday, September 30 Gunston Hall plantation, Lorton VA

Bring to Classroom: Your favorite Compass, wear Field Uniform (ClassA) if time permits.
