NCAC STEM: Engineering Merit Badge Workshop

Event Overview
NCAC STEM is hosting an event for Scouts BSA to earn the Engineering Merit Badge on Saturday, Novermber 7 2026
They will host the event at Sally's STEM Shack at Camp William B. Snyder, Haymarket, VA.
Who can attend? Scouts BSA.
Class Overview
Engineers turn ideas into reality. For example, they will take the plans drawn on paper for an exciting new roller coaster—a design with loops, drops, and corkscrews—and figure out how to build it so that it will be fast, safe to ride, and affordable to build. Engineers devise all sorts of things, ranging from a tiny, low-cost battery for your cellphone to a gigantic dam. Come spend a day learning about the fun of being an engineer!
