Scouting America Contingent July 4, 2026 in Washington D.C., on Constitution Avenue

Date and Time:  Saturday, July 4, 2026. Arrive by 10:00am ET.  
Dress code: All participants must wear full Field uniforms to participate (including hat, belt, socks) and will be responsible for their own transportation to/from the collection site.  Scouts are encouraged to bring their unit flags.  Uniforms will be inspected upon arrival.
Collection Point location and other details will be provided a couple of weeks prior to the event.
Route: One-mile stretch from Constitution Ave NW & 7th St NW to Constitution Ave NW & 17th St NW
Duration: ~4 hours (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) onsite. Scouts participating must be able to handle the wait period cheerfully.
Viewing: Limited seating near the National Archives; best views are toward the end of the route at 17th St NW. The parade will start at 11:45 AM.

Registration
Please register by units and follow the 2 deep leadership guidelines. All adults registered must be leaders in full uniform.
The event is capped at 200 Scouts.
