Frederick District Cub Scout Bike Rodeo

Frederick County Scouting is providing a FUN Bike Rodeo event for Cub Scouts and their siblings, ages 5 to 10 years old.  This is an outdoor event, rain or shine, that is scheduled for April 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Frederick Church of the Brethren at 201 Fairview Ave in Frederick, Maryland.

At the Bike Rodeo, participants will have their bicycles and helmets inspected, learn about bicycle safety, and practice riding along different routes within a secured parking lot. Bicycles with training wheels are welcome. If you do not have a bicycle but want to attend the event, there will be limited bicycles and helmets available for use. An event patch will be provided to all participants. The cost for the event is $15 per youth participant, and adults are free.

All youth participants MUST be accompanied by an adult during the event. Parents/guardians will be required to review and sign a permission slip for their participating youth onsite before the event starts.

Before the event, please make sure the youth participant has a helmet that fits correctly.
