Mega Ordeal Weekend at Camp Snyder

Registration Details:
All registrations must be completed online. Before registering, make sure to gather the following information:
- Full Name (One Used to register with your unit)
- Scouting America Member ID
- OA Chapter/ District
- Address, Email (a frequently checked email), Phone Numbers
- Allergies/Medical/Dietary Restrictions
Ordeal Candidate Weekend Gear
- Essentials (packed separately and easy to carry):
- Sleeping bag and pad
- Work Cloths for Saturday
- Water bottle
- Waterproof ground cloth/sheet (8x10 tarp) different than the one for your tent.
- Insect repellent & sunscreen
Additional Gear:
- Complete Uniform
- Work clothes, gloves, and hat (Work clothes should be durable, as some projects may involve dirt or paint. Long sleeves and pants are recommended to avoid poison ivy exposure. Bring a spare set of work clothes in a plastic bag.)
- Personal grooming supplies
- Jacket or windbreaker
- Multiple pairs of socks and changes of underwear
- Rain gear (be prepared for weather!)
- Tent
- Sturdy boots or work shoes
- Flashlight
- OA Sash (for current members)
- Tools for Projects (Specifics will be emailed out)
NOTE TO CURRENT MEMBERS: Please bring work cloths to help with the service projects!
What NOT to Bring:
- Radios, CD players, or other electronic devices. You may be asked to check in your cell phone or leave it in your car.
- Snacks or food items.
Check-In Information
Check-in Friday 3/27: Friday night check-in will be down at the pavilion in the Main Parking Lot of Camp Snyder. After check-in, you will be guided to a site.
Times:
- 6:00 pm: Ordeal Staff, Cook Crew, Elangomats, Ceremonialist
- 7:30 - 8:00 pm: Ordeal Candidates, and Non-Staff Members
Check-in Saturday 3/28: Check-ins taking place for current members on Saturday, will take place in the dining hall.
- 7:00-8:00 am: Check-in for those staying for the day,
- Brotherhood Conversion ONLY (NO FOOD) - Check in before 3:00 pm
- Feast Only - Check in before 5:30 pm
Check- Out 3/29: Please do not just leave! The check out/ pick up process will begin at 10:00 am on Sunday.

Health & Medical Information/Code of Conduct
- Health & Medical Record Form is required for all lodge/chapter events.(This form is the first one listed on the linked page and is used for activities lasting less than 72 hours. It does not require a doctor’s signature.) Bring the completed medical form and a photocopy of both sides of your insurance card. If your family does not have medical insurance, please indicate this on the form.
