Scout-tober Fall Festival: A Weekend of Adventure, Discovery, and Connection

Scout-tober Fall Festival brings all of that together in one exciting weekend filled with adventure, friendship, and fun.

Whether you are a longtime Scout, a brand-new family, or simply looking for an outdoor experience with friends, Scout-tober is your opportunity to experience the best of Scouting in a welcoming and exciting environment.

How We Bring the Experience to Life

Throughout the weekend, Scouts and families will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, learn new skills, explore nature, and celebrate the spirit of Scouting alongside members from across the Council.

Range and Target Activities

Test your focus and aim at our archery and BB gun ranges. Whether it is your first time on the range or you are a seasoned marksman, you'll discover the excitement that comes with every bullseye.

STEM Adventures

Explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through engaging hands-on activities. Build, experiment, discover, and learn while having fun with interactive challenges designed for curious minds.

Climbing Tower

Do you have what it takes to reach the top? Challenge yourself on the climbing tower and enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from pushing beyond your comfort zone.

Witches Run

Join one of Scout-tober's favorite traditions. This spirited event combines fun, teamwork, and excitement for participants of all ages.

Michael's Woodshop

Create memorable projects and crafts with guidance from skilled volunteers. Activities are available for youth and adults alike. Due to capacity limitations, advance ticket purchase is required.

Nature and Outdoor Experiences

Take a hike along the wilderness trail, explore hands-on activities at the Nature Pavilion, enjoy crafts, and stop by for face painting. There is something for every age and interest.

Professional Photo Booth

Capture the memories of your Scout-tober experience with family and friends at our professional photo booth, available Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Extend the Adventure with Overnight Camping

Camping is one of the most memorable parts of Scouting, and Scout-tober provides an opportunity to enjoy a full weekend in the outdoors. Space is available for up to 13 Cub Scout Packs in designated campsites. Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Sea Scout Ships will have dedicated camping space in the camporee field.

Adult Learning Opportunity

Scouting succeeds when adults are equipped to support youth both inside and outside the program. Join us for Introduction to Youth Mental Health, a one-hour course designed to help adults better understand and support the emotional well-being of young people. Pre-registration is required. Youth participants may also attend with a completed waiver on file.

Overnight Camping

• Cub Scout Pack Campsite
  • $140 per campsite
• Troop, Crew, or Ship Campsite
  • $120 per campsite

Camper Participation Fees

• Youth (Ages 5-18): $25
• Adults: $10
• Children Under 5: Free

Day Pass

• Youth (Ages 5-18): $15
• Adults: $5
• Children Under 5: Free

  • Camper-Only Movie Night
  • Enjoy a family-friendly movie at sunset in the amphitheater.
  • Popcorn and punch provided.
• Saturday
  • Witches Run
  • Open Program Activities
  • Site Decoration Contest
  • Professional Photo Booth (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
  • Closing Show in the Amphitheater
  • Winners of the Site Decoration Contest will be announced during the Closing Show.
