How do I do my Cub Scout role? Where do I start? What are the policies and rules, and where can I find help? Cub Scout Leader-Specific Training is required of every Cub Scout Leader taking on a new position. We provide a general session covering program operations across all leadership positions followed by leader-specific breakouts covering operations specific to each position. We provide information, encouragement, and answers to your questions!
This training is for all Cub Scout Leaders new to Scouting, new to their Cub Scout pack, or new to their leadership position: Den Leaders (all ranks), Assistant Den Leaders (all ranks), Cubmasters, Assistant Cubmasters, Committee Members and Chairs; also interested parents and friends!
Cost: The course is free.
Prerequisite: Cubmasters, Assistant Cubmasters, Den Leaders, Assistant Den Leaders: Please complete Hazardous Weather Training, SCO_800, available on-line at www.my.scouting.org, before the first session and e-mail me that you have completed it. If you are from outside the Difficult Run District, please take a photo of your completion certificate and e-mail it to me. Please contact me (see below) with any questions.
