Klondike Derby at Henson
Event Details
The Klondike Derby is a full day competition of stations, which rely on the patrol method and Scouting skills. The typical Klondike Derby consists of several stations where patrols/units must test their Scoutcraft skills and their leadership abilities, earning points towards a total score.
All scouts and scouters will be participating in age-appropriate activities at three different levels:
- The General Derby for Scouts, Venturing Scouts and Sea Scouts
- The Cub Scout Derby for AOL Scouts
- The Extreme Derby for Scouts 14+, Venturing Scouts, and Sea Scouts
Cost per Scout (includes tent camping):
$15 per Scout
Cost for AOLs:
$10 per AOL
Cost per Adult (includes tent camping):
$10 per Adult
$10 per Adult
***Attendees registered after January 2, 2026 will be charged an additional $5 per person.***
Adult Station Volunteers will register at a discount price of $5 per volunteer
Additional event patches are available for adults at a cost of $4 per patch.
A limited number of Cabins and Bunkhouses are available for rent. They will be rented using a lottery system. If you would like to rent a cabin, please email dbruzzese@dmvc.org with "Enter in Lottery" in the subject line and your unit number in the message body. Entries must be received by October 26 @ 11:59pm
