2021 OA Workday - April 10, 2021
CSR Camp Clean-up Day
Saturday, April 10, 2021
The February 2021 ice storms that impacted much of our council also caused damage at Cherokee Scout Reservation.
Under the leadership of our OA lodge, the council will gather on Saturday, April 10 to address this damage.
Much of the work will be dragging brush from campsites and moving wood. There is one adirondack that requires a new roof.
Please make plans to join us.
Please arrive between 8:15 and 8:45 am in the parking lot.
Work projects will begin at 9:00 am.
You will undergo a COVID-19 screening and receive work assignments in the parking lot.
Wear clothes that can get dirty.
There is no cost to participate in this event and lunch is provided.
For food preparation purposes, we do ask the favor of an RSVP by Wednesday, 4/7 at 11:59 pm.
This event is open to non-OA members. We especially invite those troops and crews who have Scouts that need service hours to participate. The unit will need to be under the supervision of an adult leader.
We will follow the standard COVID-19 mitigation strategies:
- screening upon arrival
- wear face-covering during the event
- practice social distancing
- wash/sanitize hands regularly
Participants will need to bring a completed copy of Parts A & B of the BSA Health Form.
What to bring:
