- Cubmasters, be prepared to register your packs for Howl-o-ree.
- You have the Parent Portal available, but you must enable it on your Pack registration.

- If you are uncertain about how to use the Parent Portal, be sure to attend the Sunday, Sep 22 Leaders Meeting.
- With over 1200 people registering for this event, the leadership team will not be able to consolidate individual registrations into a pack registration.

- BSA health and medical record (parts A and B)
- BSA Pre-event Medical Screening Form
- Shooting Sports Hold Harmless Form

For Option 1, registration closes on Tuesday, October 8 at 11:59 pm.
The participation capacity for Option 1 is 600 people. Registration may close before Tuesday, Oct 8 should the registration totals reach 600 before that date.
For Option 2, registration closes on Tuesday, October 15 at 11:59 pm.
The participation capacity for Option 2 is 600 people. Registration may close before Tuesday, Oct 15 should the registration totals reach 600 before that date.
WHAT IS HOWL-O-REE?
Howl-o-ree is a weekend full of age-appropriate outdoor activities designed for Cub Scouts to enjoy with their families and pack.
The weekend focuses on FUN and shared adventures for Cub Scouts and families.
The Howl-o-ree is a combination:
- Cub Fall Family Campout
- Fall Festival
- Harvest Celebration
- Hall-o-ween Celebration
Howl-o-ree starts on Friday evening and ends on Sunday morning.
All meals are provided in the dining hall.
Choose the date that works best for your family or pack.
SHOULD I WEAR A HALLOWEEN COSTUME DURING HOWL-O-REE?
NO, HALLOWEEN COSTUMES ARE NOT APPROPRIATE FOR HOWL-O-REE.

- ALL Cub Scouts
- Siblings
- Parents/Guardians
- Cub Scout Adult Leaders
- Den Chiefs
- Potential Cub Scout Age Youth and their families
WHAT IS THE COST?
- Prior to 11:59 pm on Sunday, Sep 29, the cost is $40 per person.
- After 12:00 am on Monday, Sep 30, the cost is $60 per person.
- The cost for siblings Under 5, regardless of date, is $15.00.
WHAT DOES THE FEE INCLUDE?
- Each attendee receives a Howl-o-ree patch
- All meals: Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, Saturday supper, Sunday morning breakfast
- Program supplies and materials for a day full of adventure
- Camp usage fees and facility rental fees

WHEN CAN MY PACK ARRIVE?
- Packs have two arrival options
- Option A: Packs may arrive on Friday between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm
- Eat Friday supper before you arrive
- Option B: Packs may arrive on Saturday between 7:30 am and 8:45 am
- Eat Saturday breakfast before you arrive
- The fee remains the same regardless of your arrival option
IS THERE A DAY CAMPER OPTION?
- Packs and families may choose to be day campers only - participate in Saturday only
- Day campers should arrive by 8:15 am so they are ready to participate in the opening flag ceremony at 9:00 am
- Day campers must depart after the flag-lowering ceremony at 6:15 pm.
- There is no price break for day campers.
- The fee includes Saturday lunch, Saturday supper, and the event patch. program materials and supplies, and facility usage fees
WHAT ARE THE CAMPING ARRANGEMENTS?
- Adirondacks are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No pack, nor family is guaranteed access to adirondacks.
- Each adirondack includes four bunk beds with mattresses.
- Be certain you follow the BSA's Youth Protection Guidelines and Barriers to Abuse when assigning people to sleep in adirondacks.
- Each family will need to provide its own tents or hammocks
- Your pack may have tents you can borrow
- Families will be assigned to campsites with other members of their pack
- Each campsite has running water and a shelter
- Campsite shelters have overhead lights and a limited number of electrical outlets
- You will have access to single-use, all-gender restrooms with flush toilets and showers within walking distance of your campsite
- Following the BSA's Barriers to Abuse,
- Cub Scout-aged youth may share housing with adults who are their parents or legal guardians
- Scouts BSA-aged youth may only share housing accommodations with other Scouts BSA-aged youth who are of the same gender and within two years of age of one another.
