Summer Cub Fun! each month this summer (June, July, and August) will have a Day Hike/Walk learning about outdoor safety and ways we can have fun in nature and our communities. Each Hike/Walk will have a unique Patch to collect and will be hosted in a different location in the Southern part of our Council. The cost per Hike is just 5 dollars a person.  Families and potential new Scouts are welcome to participate, there is also an option for adults to register at no cost. Register for each hike you and your family would like to attend. Or you can register for all 3.

June Hike: Saturday June 20th starting at 9:00am Location: (Faith Rock) 323 W Main Street, Franklinville NC, 27248. This hike will offer an opportunity for our Scouts to see and visit an historic landmark with connections to the Revolutionary War.The hike will begin at the picnic area, we will then be able to hike along the nature trail at the park. 

July Hike: Saturday July 19th starting 9:00am. Location: Peidmont Environmental Center (1220 Penny Rd, High Point, NC 27265) This hike will offer the opportunity to walk around the nature trail near Oak Hollow Lake. 

August Hike: Saturday August 16th starting at 9:00am. Location: Boone's Cave (3552 Boones Cave Rd. Lexington, NC 27292) This Hike will show Scouts and families a fun nature trail along the Yadkin River, named after American Pioneer Daniel Boone.
