CSR Fun Day - Jan 8, 2022

CSR Fun Days provide Scouts and Scouters an opportunity to earn advancement, participate in training, and gain new skills year-round. Every Second Saturday, the Old North State Council will host a Fun Day at CSR. 

Date: Saturday, January 8, 2022

Arrival Time: Arrive between 8:30 am and 9:00 am; come to the main parking lot

Departure Time: Depart the main parking lot between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm

Scouts will need to bring Parts A & B of the BSA Annual Medical & Health Form and COVID-19 Screening Form.

Scouts may choose from merit badges and activities.

Adults have an opportunity to complete two certification courses.

Cost: $35 which includes merit badge materials, a hot lunch, and COVID-19 mitigation supplies.

ATV PowerSports has an additional $50 program fee. 

The unit leader may register the entire unit. Or, families may register their Scout individually. 

Upon arrival in the parking lot, Scouts will undergo a COVID-19 screening. 

To prevent mixing, Scouts will go directly to their program area. Merit badge instruction will take place under open-air shelters. Essentially, Scouts will be outside for the entire day. Scouts should dress appropriately for the weather.

Scouts must wear a face-covering for the duration of the event. 

Class sizes are limited to 24.  ATV class size is limited to 8.

Registration closes on Thursday, Jan 6 at 11:59 pm.

The Merit Badge & Activity Detailed Chart shows which requirements will be covered during the merit badge day, pre-work, post-work, and any items Scouts should bring. 

Unit leaders/guardians are welcome to stay at camp for the duration of the event. 

The cost for adults is $5.00 to cover lunch.

Unit leaders/guardians will have a designated wait area.
