Uwharrie District Pinewood Derby!

Saturday Feb 1st at Wesley Memorial Church in High Point. (1225 Chestnut Dr, High Point, NC 27262)

Our district Pinewood Derby is open to all Cub Scouts in the Uwharrie District. Each Scout will have as opportunity to race their Pinewood derby cars, for a chance to make it into the district championship. If your Pack hosted a Pinewood Derby, the Top 3 racers from each pack automatically qualify for the District Championship Race.

Siblings and non-registered youth can register and participate in the preliminary race but will not be able to participate in the championship race.

Registration cost $6. 

All pinewood derby cars must follow and meet the rules requirements to qualify for the Championships race. Rules for cars can be downloaded from the attachments.

Check-in and car inspection for all participants including Pack Pinewood Derby winners will begin at 9:00am and will close at 10:00am

Preliminary Race will begin promptly at 10:30am.

The Cub Scout Motto is to do your best. Competition can be a lot of fun, so we ask all participants and parents to be respectful and follow the Scout Oath and Law so everyone has a good time!
