The committee for the Berico / Old North State Sporting Clays Classic invites you to join us for shooting fun, good food, games, and fellowship at the beautiful Cherokee Scout Reservation on Friday, October 6, 2023.  The annual Classic helps provide the necessary financial resources to deliver Scouting programs to over 6000 youth and volunteers in our eight-county service area.

Each shooter in a four-man team will attempt to shoot targets with the winning team having the highest score on a premier ten-station sporting clays course.

How many stations are on the sporting clays course?

There are 10 unique shooting stations. 

What are the flight options?

Flight options include 8:30 am and 12:30 pm shooting times. 

How are shooters/teams recognized?

Awards will be given for both "Top Gun" individual scores and net and gross scores. 

What are the sponsorship levels/options?

Platinum Sponsor - $3500

• Large promotion banner at the event

• 24 mulligans (12/team)

Gold Sponsor - $2500

• Corporate logo in all marketing

Silver Sponsor - $1250

Single Team - $800

• 1 four-person shooting team

All-American Veteran's Team - $700

• 1 four-person shooting team
• 4 door prize tickets

Individual Shooter - $200

• 1 person shooting
• 1 door prize ticket

Shooting Stand Sponsor - $300

What do sponsorship levels include?

All sponsorships include event gifts, food, door prize opportunities, mulligans packages, and ammunition.

What is the special gift this year?

A customized Old North State Council Sportsman's shell bag.

What meals are included?

• Breakfast at 7:45 am
• Lunch from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm

What if I don't have my own shotgun?

• 20-gauge shotguns are available

What ammunition choices are there?

• 12-guage or 20-guage

Will there be a silent auction?

• Yes, there will be a silent auction.

Can I purchase mulligans prior to the event?

• Yes, you can purchase mulligans during the pre-registration process.
• Here are the two mulligan packages
  • 10 for $100
  • 4 for $60
• On the day of the event, Friday, 10/6, mulligans will cost $15.
