The Old North State Council will be hosting a Camporee on March 27-29, 2026. Any Scouts BSA Troop may register to attend the Camporee. Scouts and Scouters will have the opportunity to learn wilderness survival skills, participate in competition, and share in the fellowship of Scouting.
Theme:
Wilderness Survival (Activities support wilderness survival learning but do not include merit badge instruction, testing, or advancement credit)
Location:
The ONSC Camporee North will be taking place at Camp Springs Blue Grass Park and Campground, located in Caswell County, less than 10 miles from our Cherokee Scout Reservation. This location will provide tent camping and modern amenities, detailed in the Leader's Guide.
Documents for Everyone:
- Please complete and bring signed paper copies of this BSA health and medical record (parts A and B)
- Pre-event Medical Screening Form—Please complete the pre-event medical screening form before 12:00pm (Noon) on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, to ensure you are healthy enough to attend the banquet.
- Please stay home if you cannot pass the pre-event medical screening form.
Registration Fee:
- Cost Per Scout: $25.00 Early Bird Rate: $20.00 (Paid Before February 27th)
- Cost Per Leader: $20.00
- Camporee Staff: $10.00
Each participant will recieve an ONSC Camporee North activity patch. Registration fees also cover facility cost and insurance.
Scout Troops will be responsible for meals.
Event Details:
- Arrival: Please arrive between 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, March 27th, 2026
- Departure: Campsite Check-Out before 12:00 PM on Sunday, March 29th, 2026

In order to attend Camporee as an Adult, you must be a registered Adult volunteer with Scouting America and have current Safeguarding Youth Training status.
