Merit Badges offered:

Scouts may register for one of the following merit badges. Please note that due to some merit badge requirements, some classes will be limited to the number of participants. 

• American Heritage
• Citizenship in the World
• Coin Collecting
• Genealogy

Counselors will contact registered Scouts regarding pre-requisites and needed materials.

Prerequisites:

American Heritage: Requirements 3c and 4c

Citizenship in the World: TBD

Coin Collecting: 

While there are no true prerequisites for taking the merit badge class it would be helpful to have the following:

1. A magnifying glass or loupe

2. Pocket change of each denomination (cent, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar, dollar).  Several of each if possible.

3. A one dollar bill.

4. Any foreign coin(s) or paper money you may have and would like to share.  Please do not bring anything known to be valuable.

If you already have a collection and it is secure and portable you may bring it and share with your parent's knowledge

With your parent's approval review the merit badge requirements (https://www.scouting.org/merit-badges/coin-collecting/) and feel free to begin working on numbers 6, 7, 9 and 10.

Genealogy: Requirement 9

Cost: Free! However, registration is required.

Schedule:

Check-in will begin at 8am

All Merit Badge Classes will begin promptly at 8:30am and run to 12pm. 

Lunch will not be provided
